Melanie's innate strengths in organization, coordination, and
administration have produced tremendous value in organizing business issues and
resources for effective productivity. Coupled with a keen intellect, a
reverence for the pragmatic and real, a love of learning, and the ability to
draw parallels and produce leverage, she successfully applies this talent mix
in the business world.
Early in her career, Melanie noted the critical need
for a better bridge between Information Technology and the organizations it
serves. Thus, she has devoted much of her career to:
- Strengthening business alignment through an appreciation of
the broad conceptual nature of business, including the relationship of
organizational functions as a complete, sustainable system and the relationship
of the organization to the community, the industry, and the
world.
- Fostering a fertile environment for staff development, through
caring yet effective processes for organizational design, role definition and
job descriptions, recruiting and interviewing, orientation, ongoing
communication, and a respectful, intentional commitment between staff and
management.
- Developing a simple yet robust methodology for change and
project management, a coherent body of procedures and templates which provides
a blueprint for repeatable success - culminating in Repeatable Success
Project Management Methodology© available through
TerraSys Consulting today.
Melanie is the founding principal of TerraSys
Consulting, Inc., a management and information technology consulting services
firm, providing services in both private and public sectors.
With the principals of TerraSys Consulting, she
created the methodology system, Repeatable Success Project Management Methodology©.
RS PMM enables project teams to meet expectations for cost,
time, quality, and functional expectations - project after project.
